The 23 year old producer and saxophonist fluidly traverses the realms of jazz, soul, house, and beat, freed from the structural restraints of traditional dance music - ‘Life pt.1’ is all about making music that comes naturally, music straight from the heart. This ethos can be heard throughout the release, as blistering saxophone and piano performances merge effortlessly with smooth synths and drum machines. On ‘Wayward1’, the artist enlists his sister’s talents on the vocal, adding another layer of honesty to the down-to-earth collection of tracks. ‘Life pt.1’ resonates equally well in personal listening as it does with an open-minded dance floor - a reflection of the young producer’s personal growth and musical depth.
